Upgrading Nishikas

Greetings,
I'm new to the list and I'm hoping to glean a lot of information
here. I haven't done any work with stereopairs. Mostly I've been using
my Nishika to get lenticular photos done since 1990. I'm starting to
select favorites I've taken over the years and have them enlarged. I'm
quite excited about it.

I read on the web on the 3D Hacker's page that the Nishika has
plastic lenses of the same "high" quality of low grade disposible
cameras. I always wondered why the Nishika took lousy photos. Now I
know. However, seeing the directions for modifying a Nishika to take
stereopairs on his web site, I wondered if I could replace those plastic
lenses with glass ones. Where would I get the parts? I'm also wondering
if anyone could tell me where to pick up another Nishika on the cheap to
experiment on. Thanks!
