No problem. Send me the cash in advance and I'll throw in a free KUK folding
viewer.

Jon made some excellent points about what goes into an RBT or ANY stereo
prototype BEFORE they are actually ready for even low production runs. Too
many people only see the finished product and balk at what they see is a
ridiculous price. Let's be realistic here, if it were that easy don't you
think ALL the major camera manufacturers would be jumping the 3D gun by now?

Even if they merely invested let's say $200,000 for the machining and labor
to start, plus parts, how many would you have to sell at a mere $2000 to
break even?

In order to use any camera for modification as extensive as the RBT, you
would first have to know how every part in the original camera works. You
would have to be able to strip it and put it back together. You would need a
machinist's and engineer's knowledge to device the parts and modifications,
and then you would have them made. Then comes the many , many tests,
revisions, etc before a single camera is ready. Then it has to be warrantied
to boot.

BTW, who where can I get the address of the "amateur who works in a corner
of the garage with time on his hands using solder up the middle"?

I could really use the guy, as I'm up to my neck right now with 4 or 5
projects right now, as well as writing engineering finals and trying to make
a living on the side!!!!
