Hello George
Just a line to square the record, I think I could have addressed the
mail a little better. I am no more than a medium for getting Bernard
Browns' 3D experience onto the net.
I met Bernard about 2 years ago at Barry Camera Club and had at that
time never really experience 3D until I saw his first roadshow. Since
then he has been my mentor on this subject.
His work in 3D is very well recognised in UK and certainly an
inspiration to me. As Bernard has no computer or internet access I saw
the potential of getting him to submit articles and feed him with
interesting letters that I find in hope of a response.
I have had many years as an amatuer photographer and using computers, so
now the two can be tied in, this I find very exciting and to incorporate
3D is even better.
To show a conventional 3D(cut ,paste and copy)photograper such as
Bernard, what can be done on a computer via Photoshop is quite rewarding
especially when his experience and expertees is inputed.
I have found sitting here as a middle man, your correspondence to be
very interesting. I will pass on your letter to Bernard.
Its a very small world now with the Net, last week we were raising funds
for a Veterans Charity outside Cardiff Castle, one of the attraction was
a Welsh Guardsman complete with bearskin helmet. A lady in her 20's
appeared complete with a Realist to photograph the guardsman. She was
from Southern Barvaria and on the Net, so now we have another contact.
Many thanks for your mail
Best wishes
