Opinion from Novice Part 3

Before I begin with 3-D "delivery" through PREFERENCE topic...I want to
comment on
"stereopsis in the population". Although I agree
somewhat with the "variable"theory of depth
perception, I have a fresh novice opinion here.....It seems that most
interest groups (clubs ) seem to question the problems that exist with
the rest of the world. Consider my theory as a possibility for a
moment.......Suppose that 90+% experience
full 100% stereopsis in all it's splender. The
3-D enthusiast ( with inferior perception! )
allows a pair of flat 2-D images to fool the brain into seeing a depth
that does not exist in real-
time, or in reality, from any 2-D image! Now,
a person with Superior perception, sees the same images...the brain
corrects....and is NOT
fulled by this trick! Real-time and proper perception is
established...thus NO 3-D effect
is experienced! Hey! Hey!....don't get me wrong
I 'm a 3-D..er. ONE SOLUTION is..................
100yd deep viewers containing miniature replicas of our favorite scenes,
placed to true scale and accurate in every detail. Bet everyone would
agree on the experience then.
Just my opinion. Back to the other subject....................MARK
DOTTLE
