3D Wizard Pics

Today the first of two rolls came back. Exactly 21 days later. It contained
18 lenticular prints instead of the expected 16. However two additional
prints were from terribly underexposed shots taken after dark and the
subject was too far away for the flash to work properly. They included an
invoice for the two extra prints....

The quality of the others is reasonable. Some worked better than others but
I was experimenting a bit. Unfortunately it seems that flash has a tendency
to wash out the features of people, so all my people shots are kind of
unclear. I think that I will get better results from those images by having
a local processer make prints for me.

Other images that weren't of people's faces turned out much nicer. Even some
of the closest objects like stalks of grass in the extreme foreground came
out nice and sharp. It's too bad the people pictures don't seem anywhere
near as sharp. It seems strange that objects other than the people even in
the same scenes are much sharper.

I definitely like some of the convenience of this camera and will continue
using it, but the three week wait for the results tests my patience. I'm
going to process locally from now on, and send out for lents later. By then
I will know which ones I really want and can order multiple quantities too.
