>Hi 3D-members !

Howdy! :-)

>Have clouds ever been considered as a natural enemy to 3D-photgraphy ?

DrT says: "Clouds can be an enemy for the single-camera user, BUT, they
can also be a blessing, or the subject of his photography!!!" He has a
story to tell on how the movement of the clouds created a hyperstereo out
of a flat picture! (see next posting).

Here is his advice: "Consider moving in the SAME
direction as the clouds when you record your hyperstereo. This will put
the clouds beyond infinity, which is BEHIND the mountains or your main
subject. If you move against the movement of the clouds they your will
most probably bring them in front of your main subject.... which is usually
undesirable :-)". Shadows? Yes, this can be a problem?

>2 cameras + 2 persons = 1 3D-photo

Doable but VERY TRICKY (low percentage of success, especially if you are
working with slides where there not enough room for cropping). Another
alternative: 2 cameras + two tripods + air remote release. Lots of
preparation needed to align the cameras. Mark Wilke has mastered this
method and produced wonderful hyperstereos.

>1 person, 2 cameras -> 3D-walking-stick ?

DrT suggests that instead of trying to modify the walking stick to be your
twin camera bar, why don't you modify a camera bar to be your walking
stick??? He is serious about it! What is a walking stick? Does it have
to be round? Think about it!
