Novice Mark Dottle, under "Preferences" is talking about the elements that
make a good stereo picture...

DrT has urged stereophotographers, many times in the past, to exhibit their
best work to the public. Mismounted and out of focus slides might have
given the public a bad taste for 3d. Uninteresting snapshots are OK for
one's personal collection but it is better if only interesting,
well-executed, images are shown to the general public.
Regarding the individual likes and dislikes among technically acceptable
images, maybe Mark can join our Cleveland Stereo Club and watch judging in
action. Our meetings are every FIRST Tuesday of the month and we start our
new year this September (2nd) with a program "Stereo Imaging in Science and
Technology" and a "Mock Slide Competition" workshop with practice judging
before our actual first competition in October. Subscription to our
newsletter is also available for non-members.
Perhaps, after the meeting, he can stay for a few rounds of poker with
DrT. Instead of money, we use our stereo images... :-)
