Slide Superiority

Greg Wageman defended stereo prints rivaling
slide pairs as a format of choice. I just want to
remind those as to the context of that conversation. Dr.T and I agree
that as a format of choice ( if we had to choose one) that best
represents the 3-D experience.....we went with
stereo slides as our mass medium. The ease
of viewing, small hardware, film flexability etc.
We were not implying that prints are inferior....
and by your own admissions you expressed
the print limitations with ISO 25 exposures
free viewing techniques and not to mention
the larger size of prints and the axis of viewing
required. Sure ....great prints look good!
But it wasn't our format of choice, the best foot
forward to share the 3-D experience.
I did however find alot of value in the stereo
print pairs. Thanks MARK DOTTLE
