Cloud 3-D (book)

[I have been on vacation recently, and have not had a chance to go
through all the discussion of cloud stereography, so pardon me if
this duplicates what has already been written.}

There is a whole book of cloud stereo: "Das 3-D-WolkenBuch,
Einfuehrung in die Wetterkunde mit dreidimensionalen Wolkenbildern"
by Dieter Lorenz and Max Miller, 1991, published by Wittig
Fachbuchverlag, Hueckelhoven, Germany, ISBN 3-88984-077-9.  Includes
viewer.  The book includes a comprehensive appendix on stereo
techniques in general, with a special section on could
stereo-photography ("Stereoaufnahmen von Wolken und anderen
speziellen Objekten") covering "Grosse Basis fuer Wolken" (large base
for clouds), "Gleichzeitig mit zwei Kameras" (simultaneously with two
cameras), "Nacheinander mit einer bewegten Kamera" (sequentially with
one camera), "Ausnutzung des Wolkenzugs" (using the movement of
clouds passing by), "Vermessung mit Stereobildern (measurement with
stereo-pictures).  

Hey!  I keep telling students to take German, but nooo!  They have
heard that Spanish is easier, so that's what most take.  Have you
ever seen anything technically important written in Spanish?  It just
isn't done.

Anyway, this is a good little book.
