That depends on the material at hand.
An easy way is to use the Paint Shop Pro ver. 4 function:
Channels-Splitting  and  Channels-Combining

Bring the concave mirror to a galvanic workshop, and ask them
to clean off the old mirror, to put on a new layer of crome,
not silver, and to polish the surface. It might cost you a
good cigar, and you can keep the paper from the cigaret box ;-)
