I just bought my first package of RBT mounts, and have to say I'm spoiled
for them. The comparative high price is more than offset to me by their
being completely self-contained (no tape or anything else required), their
easy foolproof mounting (virtually impossible to misalign), and
reusability. Currently I'm mounting my A-list slides in them and putting
the also-rans in cheaper cardboard slip-in mounts (Equally self-contained
and reusable, but no window control) Both types of mounts are available in
4-p, 5-p and 7-p widths; and the RBTs are (I think) available in wide and
full-frame width, so you have lots of latitude (or would this be
longitude?)
