Re:Stereo conversion of a different kind/Virtual Boy sightings

Hi everyone,
Some previous postings mentioned that only a small percentage of people are
completely bowled over by 3-D when they see it. (I've always been one of
these)
 I've been trying to convert comics and photos for just under 2 years now and
sent a few anaglyphs and glasses to a friend in Alaska. His reaction was
"I've always really HATED that stuff." But a funny thing happened. Later when
I converted a few photos of his kids to 3-D his reply was " Awesome!! I'm
going to start wearing these cool red/blue glasses around everywhere.  The
whole WORLD will look 3D!!  I can't wait! " (clipped directly from his
e-mail) Most people I've found to be pretty indifferent but he's the first
I've met who hated it! Now he can't get enough! My feeling is that once the
subject matter was of interest to him he actually paid attention to the
pictures.
Anyway, he turned out to be my best conversion yet!
 Also, a friend of mine runs an Electronics Boutique here in Minnesota and
says he's getting in a bunch of Virtual Boys for $25.00 and software at
$10.00 a crack! Time to get one. (for the kid of course) ;-)         Mike
