On the other hand, if the antagonists were to put together some charts,
graphs, equations, human factors references, economic projections, etc.
and put them on their respective web pages, then send brief announcements
of the availability of the information to P3D, we might come closer to
resolving some of the issues that have been raised. (Maybe web page
references were given 15-20 iterations back - I don't remember.) At this 
point some of the detailed technical issues have boiled down to assertion 
versus assertion (or ASSERTION versus ASSERTION), and it's not much help
to those of us who haven't experienced both systems.

Case in point: it has been stated that with the sync doubling system,
the brain will interpolate the lines of the left and right views to get
essentially full vertical resolution. A reply asserts that this does not
work, and (near as I can make out) the images will only appear to be half
as high as they would using some other system. A little clearer explanation
of these assertions would be welcomed, but hopefully with about a 99%
reduction in the level of "passion".
