What does the 4-p, 5-p, 7-p mean? What is the difference between wide
and full-frame? How do I know which I should be using? Where can I order
these mounts? Thanks. Bill Mackin

Bill...here are the specs on the mounts. Remember that any wider format
can use the narrower openings as making options. For instance...and
camera that shoot the 5 perf...or five sprocket hole wide format...can
also use the RBT 4 as a masking option. Shooting full-frame cameras
means you can use the RBT F and four other sizes below it as masking
options. *Note: an RBT F full-frame is 23mm x 33mm, so not truly
full-frame or 24mm x 36mm, to allow for some masking power for stereo
alignment.

RBT 4 can be used with a variety of HALF-FRAME or four sprocket hole
formats such as the Nimslo...or beam splitter attachments. Plus any
cameras that shoot wider formats

RBT 4 Nimslo format 21 x 16mm
RBT 4G Nimslo format 21 x 16mm with Anti-Newton glass

RBT 5 is known as the REALIST NORMAL FORMAT or five sprocket hole wide,
all the following cameras can use the RBT 4 as well for, and can be used
with the Realist, Revere, Kodak, Illoca, Wollensak, TDC, Delta...plus
any cameras that shoot wider format

RBT 5 Realist format 23 x 21mm
RBT 5G Realist format 23 x 21mm with Anti-Newton glass

RBT 7 is know as the EUROPEAN or seven sprocket hole format. Typically
Belplascas, Busch Veriscope, FED, and other european stereo 35mm
models. Plus any cameras that shoot a wider format

RBT 7 Euro format 23 x 28mm
RBT 7G Euro format 23 x 28mm with Anti-Newton glass

RBT W is known as the WIDE FORMAT...used for cameras that shoot full
frame...where you need a bit more masking power. All RBT cameras,
Hektrons, Miller Bros...Sam Smith specials...and any modern SLR format
cameras can use this...or sizes smaller

RBT W Wide format 23 x 31.5mm
RBT WG Wide format 23 x 31.5mm with Anti-Newton glass

RBT F is known as the sterewo FULL FORMAT mount....although not truly
full-frame (See above) ALL that applies to the RBT W applies
here...except certain RBT X series "A" models which shoot the RBT W or
smaller width options

RBT F Full SLR format 23 x 33mm
RBT FG Full SLR format 23 x33mm with Anti-Newton glass

One-sided glass mounts helps if you project, especially in 7 & W & Full
formats. Two anti-Newton glass pieces nest flush into left and right
apertures of a white halve, providing one-sided protection from bulb
heat, eliminating popping of the emulsion for more accurate focusing on
screen.
