Re: 3D Clubs in Arizona

Let's see..Michael Amundson moves from Colorado to Arizona; I moved from
Phoenix to Denver then back four years later; and, if memory serves, our
esteemed moderator Bob Wier moved from NAU to ETSU about six years ago.
And there's Tom Dory in Chandler, who received Expo2. Seems most of
the 3D'ers have been too busy moving to and from Arizona to have time
for a 3D club :-).

Seriously, Dr. T's mention of a failed Sun City club is the first time
I have heard of an Arizona 3D club, and I have lived most of my life
here. Of course, not only is Arizona one of the largest states, but
I believe Phoenix has now edged out Philadelphia to become the fifth
largest city--so it is difficult to keep up with all that is going on,
even in the city.

There was mention that Phoenix is a possibility for the NSA convention
in the year 2000?, so perhaps 3D interest and communication here will
improve, assuming we don't all move away by then :-).
