Plano Box, Originally: Tool Time 3D

In photo-3d 2270 martz3d@xxxxxxx says he doesn't know how many slides
fit in a Plano 3700 box.

If you are using those wonderful Spicer mounts you can easily fit 28
mounts (a 36 exposure roll when everything turns out) with room to
get your fingers in. If you squeeze you can fit 35 mounts. With 12
separate compartments that's 336 easy fit mounts or 420 tight fit
mounts.

Here is another great idea for these boxes. If you remove two of the
adjacent horizontal dividers (you will need to dremel it) a Red
Button viewer will just fit. That way you can have nine compartments
for 250 slides and a viewer in the other three. That is still
probably more slides than you will be able to get someone to look at
in one setting (unless it is me).

I believe someone else already did this, but I purposely left one of
these boxes in my car trunk for two weeks in the blazing summer heat.
Without slides of course. I was not able to detect any odor or other
ill effects.

Thanks for the time,
