View-Master 500 condensers

Does anyone know what type of glass is used for the condenser lenses in
the VM 500 projector. I picked up a projector recently that was missing
one of the condenser lenses, and need to replace it. The glass has a
greenish cast to it. Obviously you can make the glass any color that you
want, but photographic lenses are usually clear. Does the green indicate
tempered glass, color corrected, heat absorbing (HAG), or something
else?

Also, is there anyone on the list who makes replacement condenser
lenses? I run across this problem quite frequently and could use a
reliable source for replacements.
