In photo-3d 2278 WP Fleming asks about the Owla Stereo Camera

This was my first stereo camera. The lenses (3.5) were very sharp in
my particular camera and the shutters worked great. I used this
camera extensive in my cave photography and it held up great being
banged and dragged around in cold and wet and dry and dusty
conditions.

The only problem (as Patrick Boeckstijns) states is that the chips
are slightly under sized and don't allow for ANY window adjustment in
5p mounts. Back when all I was using was Albions, I mounted
everything in 4p Nimslo mounts. What I would suggest now, is that you
use the Spicer Realist close up mount. The aperture of these is 19x23
mm compared to the 21.5x23 mm for normal Spicers or 16x21 for the
Nimslo Spicers. This should be more than adequate to compensate for
the small chip with out having to sacrifice any subject matter by
having to use the Nimslo mount.

Thanks for the time,
