TDC vs. Triad, part II

I am still waiting for someone to tell me that they were using a TDC
projector and then switched to a Triad and they like the Triad more...
Without any hard data, seems to me that the TDC is brighter than the Triad,
using the same 500W bulbs. The TDC fan is definitely stronger and keeps
the projector cooler. The TDC polarizers can be easily replaced and Reel
3-D sells replacements. Has anybody ever replaced the Triad polarizers?
My TDC 116 came with a slide carrier wide enough to project 7p slides. I
have modified a 716 carrier to project 7p slides. Has anybody modified a
Triad carrier to project 7p slides? Is the little slide preview
illuminated table of the Triad of use to anyone? Does anyone know of
any stereo club that uses a Triad for their meetings? (I know at least
3 clubs that use a TDC).
Regarding demand/supply and prices, there are definitely more TDCs around
but Triads are not uncommon. I have sold about 2 TDCs for every Triad.
What is uncommon is the Compco 500 which is like a smaller version of the
Triad with same adjustment mechanism and same slide carrier.
