Note also that I'm talking about "ability to do so". One also can toss
out or lose film images if one doesn't do what's needed to keep things.

With digital images one has the *choice* to keep it in perfect condition
forever, with film one has no choice, the image *will* be lost eventually.

I make no assertions about what people will choose.
