Re: What can you do in 2d that cannot do in 3d

It sure does. That's why I use single and twin SLR cameras to
supplement my Realist stereo photography. However, SLR camera
systems have serious limits too.
>You suggested some things which couldn't be done. I know at least
>some of them are doable in 3D.
Despite what the subject line reads, there are very few things
(if any) that are possible in 2d and THEORETICALLY impossible
in 3d. It is just all the practical considerations, budget
constraints, etc., that makes them almost impossible for 99.9%
of us. I was agreeing with Ron Labbe who said that many things
that are so easy in 2d, are a pain in the b... in 3d. I never
claimed that there are things that are IMPOSSIBLE to do in 3d.
I just made a list of things that are very easy to do in 2d
but considerably more difficult in 3d.
>Don't you dream?
>They say that dream deprivation is a bad thing for one's health.
Do you need to sleep in order to dream? It's a fact that I do
not sleep a lot. I think you can see the effects of sleep
deprivation in my postings.... :-)
I am a practical person... I don't like to dream of things
that cannot be done given personal constraints of money and
time. I'd rather put effort on things that I can and want to do.
Birds in-flight with 300/2.8 len$es? I'll pass.
