|In fact, 3D Magazin has a fine little article on just this subject in the
|July-Sept issue.  A theory is presented on how to construct a stereo pair
|of a triangular impossible solid, which does indeed show depth, with all
|three legs of the triangle coming towards the observer - and all three legs
|apparently connected in space.  The article shows the final result, a
|computer generated stereo pair.  The trick is in the third leg, which is
|discontinuous in a very subtle way.

|I think one could definitely do this sort of thing with photography,
|although some photo- or computer-retouching would certainly be required.
