/The Pakon is a simple, hinged plastic mount. The hinge is the exact width
of a Realist-format mount. The hinge can be cut away with an X-acto blade.
The two halves of the mount can then be glued back together, providing a
slot into which the Realist mount can be inserted. The Pakon then becomes
a carrier for the Realist slide, and can be safely used with most slide
scanners.
