Blue sky

>PS: Why is the sky blue?

Because I am using Fujichrome and not Kodachrome!

You know, some times I wonder about statements that, unlike E6 films,
Kodachrome will retain the colors for years to come... What colors???
If the Fujichrome that I am using keeps half of its color in 50 years
(that's how much I want it to last), then it will still have more
color than a Kodachrome recording the same scene.

And something else... The skys that I shot in Greece with Kodachrome 25
were NOT blue. They were purple-blue. They had this very undesirable
Kodachrome purple cast due to the fact that the Kodachrome that I was
shooting was not sufficiently OLD! (From what I have gathered from P3d
discussions, if the Kodachrome is too fresh it has a purple cast, if it
is too old it has a green cast.) Sorry, but I did not have the time to
put it at the *top* of my refrigirator to let it age...

In your own words Bob, that's "BS"!

My Fuji Sensia is colorful and does not show any color shifts depending
on its maturity. I'll keep on using it even if I regret it when I am
90 years old... I picture myself wispering these final words "I should
have used Kodachrome"... Hell, I'll take the chances!
