Actually, it is more practical to use mounts that mask the prints
to the shape and size of vintage stereo cards.  Such mounts are
commercially available.  Masking the image by a mount is also used
in stereo slides.  The only stereo images that are punched out are
the View Master chips because they are too small to be cut with
ordinary film cutters.
