Average age stereo fans

Dr. T raises a few valid points regarding average age of stereo
enthusiasts. I was also surprised when I attended the Cleveland meeting
( and I'm 37 ) and I'd guess I'm one of the youngest there. My fondness
for cars, women,and sports is evident in my 3-D work
( aside from a boring flower or landscape now and then) Youth is raised
today expecting "instant gratification" and I would expect all film
products sales to be down in the "20 something" age bracket because some
time and patience is required. Film is also a sophisticated study ( when
you really get into it)
and alot of 3-Ders I've met seem to have an above average aptitude. It
may be coincidence,
but I don't believe so. And of course $$$$$$$$
film and processing often exceeds equipment costs even in the short
term! I have learned that my new 3-D hobby is an evolution, a study, and
not a "flash in the pan" activity. It requires patience, time, money,
aptitude and understanding.............gotta go.....some chick is at my
door with a six pack.....gonna watch the
ultimate fighting then cruise in the Z..................
