Adam, seems you rattled some cages and stirred up the lions.
Alas Dr. T, I am afraid however I'm too old for kindergarten.
Adam was quite the gentleman not to speculate my age. ;^)
I agree with Dr. T's point that people seem to have got into stereo
photography later than earlier. When asking people how long they've
been shooting stereo photos they usually say about 12-15 years. I am
not too clear on the reason. Certainly people were retiring in the 50's
and 60's as well. Wasnt the economy better than in the 70's and 80's?
Did it take Realist closing its doors before more people appreciated
stereo (like missing the water when the well runs dry)? BTW, its
usually the older men that can better afford fast cars but thats another
conversation.
I LOVED the slide show. It was everything I hoped for and much more
than I was expecting. A friend mentioned that stereo is very difficult
to project so I was indeed impressed. It is magic. Now I'm thinking I
need 3 projectors. One TDC, and two kodaks and a clinic at our club for
slide mounting for projection. Maybe I can find one of those yard sales
Adam goes to and purchase a silver screen for $1.!
