In particular, I objected to some high values placed on a few ViewMaster
packets that were not that rare, and some low values that were placed on
ones that were more rare. I don't have it in front of me, but I could
site specifics if needed...
Back a few years ago, I knew that if I saw a copy of his book in an
antique store I should stop looking for their VM's right there. (I never
did of course, but in hind sight, I almost never bought anything from
those people.) They generally jacked whatever listed price up another
10% to 30% over the generally already high prices... I always had a
problem with findind poor quality, common Yellowstone reels for $3... I
used to find them at 3 for $1, then the book came out...
Like I said, it's a valuable resource, but it is missing some reels and
packets from the listings, and the prices were IMHO opinion and
therefore need to be taken with a grain of salt. (Possibly like my
message!) ;-)
