I would like to point out that the VM part is only a small section (not the
central focus) of the book and compliment the author for his pioneer work.
Of course, prices are changing with time, that's why John is working on a
new edition (ps. keep this quiet, it might be a secret).

Here is a brief abstract from the October issue of the "Stereogram" (ask me
about subscribing!):

"	Our club (O-hi-O Stereo Photographic Society) is proud to
have John Waldsmith as a member. For those who have been into stereo for a
while, John needs no introduction. He is world-known stereo view
collector, a founder member of NSA and the author of the classic book
"Stereo Views: An Illustrated History & Price Guide". The amount of
information in this book have made it the bible of stereo collecting. Among
other things, it contains the first ever published list and pricing guide
for View-Master reels. For a long time exchanges in this area were based
on the "Waldsmith Price".
John attended our first meeting and was one of the judges in our
practice slide competition. His comments showed an in-depth understanding
of the technical and artistic aspects of stereo photography and we would be
happy to have him as a judge in all our competitions."
