I was a beginner when I bought a stack of Q Vues, but soon learned
that they had too many problems, the first of which was the difficulty in
trying to get any type of glue to maintain contact with the two sections.
Second, exactly as described by Bill Walton, they are sized for the
Grand Photo pairs with no allowances for cropping, trimming, or evening
up skewed horizons. And third, they are quite thin and don't hold up
as well as cut matte board when sending in folios or to a PSA salon.
I have long since switched to cutting matte boards to Holmes size and
drymounting the pairs of prints which I crop or trim when necessary.
Anyone need some unused QVues??
Carole
