Same here. I think it's a good idea if it's done on a small scale. If an
effort is made to get it into mass distribution, then the finances and
marketing of the distribution will immediately overwhelm all other
considerations.

I'm not even interested in a stamped disc at this point. If the CD-R
ones sell like hotcakes on the list, then consideration can be given
to advertising in targeted publications and having a batch stamped out.
But there's a lot of risk even at that point - some minor error on the
master disc could leave you with a thousand useless discs.

Followup on CD-R: apparently there's no *rewritable* format on the market at
this time which can be read on all conventional CD-ROM drives.
