Light table

Anyone have any plans for constructing a small light table? I think I
can figure out how to make the box out of wood, and get a sheet of
frosted plastic for the top. But what kind of light should I use? The
selection of fluorescents at Home Depot wasn't very promising. The
pre-made light boxes I saw at an art supply house usually had 2
fluorescent lights mounted in the bottom, with an on-off switch on the
power cord or outside of the box. The lights were usually 5000 degree K
bulbs. I think I can live with a standard bulb, but any suggestions
would be appreciated.
