Hello Gary,

Just wanted to add my $0.02 worth. If you are rolling the film for two days
you are putting another roll in the film the other direction. IMO.

I have been mounting my slides for quite a while, I'm not the best but have
had some success. When I get my film back from my local store it has only
been a day or two since it was processed they do a good job and it is rolled
with paper between to protect from scratches. I unroll it take a quick look
and then reverse the roll with the paper in between again and leave it for 3
to 4 hours. Not much longer or it goes the other way. Then I unroll it again
and thumb tack it hanging straight down. On the bottom of the film I put two
Wooden clothes pins on each side where sprocket holes are. And leave it there
for a few days if possible usually one will do it. I now have 4 rolls
hanging there and it has been over a month. When I take it down they are as
straight as an arrow. I find that the clothes pins are just about the right
amount of weight, and will not be too much if you get way behind and have to
leave things for a while.

Just another homebrewed way to get the job done.
