Dan's CD project has a number of great benefits:

*Easy to create CD from web sites submitted on ZIP disks
*Easy to create Index -- see Dan's excellent index at
http://www.dddesign.com/3dbydan/3dlinks
*Each artist maintains control of his/her images and descriptive
information
*Fast loading of images and information from local drive
*Easy to view on any computer with Netscape or IE browser
*Easy to recreate on an annual basis
*Great for club use or to show 2D folks the benefits of 3D

A CD of only high quality 3D images (no web sites) sounds like a good
commercial project for the future (like raising pure bred horses or
camels).
