Went to the site he gave the URL for, ALL
FRENCH...I Can not read French. Not a
criticism, just a comment.

Digital Vs. Silver based photography: If Silver
based photography goes away, it will be
because of the publics lack of interest. Digital
certainly is easier and less costly, and history
has shown that we tend to favor anything that
is faster and cheaper.

CDs are nice, but loose quite a bit in the
translation. Records (those 12 inch flat black
plastic things that go round and round) can
deliver a richer, fuller sound when played on a
quality player.

Concerning problems with Stereo display:
keep in mind that what turned many people off
of 3D movies was the quality and for the most
part, a never ending barrage of effects. Poor
quality came not from any inherent problem
with the technology, but bad projection by
projectionists that had no clues about proper
stereo projection.

I counted over a hundred Stereo related Web
Sites; up from last year, at least 6 Lenticular
process Stereo cameras, Ansco's new entry,
the fact that Kodak again mounts Stereo
slides (remember, they did discontinue this
service at one time), New Viewmaster viewers,
the Discover3d product, and on and on and
on.

Seems to me there is a growing interest in 3D.
