Lawrence Kaufman quoted :

who also suggested that the Internet might be the "CB of the 90s".

May I suggest that the CB fad of the 70s was a direct and necessary
predecessor of the cellular phones that are common today (and soon will
be ubiquitous). The future incarnation of the internet (whatever it may
be) will bear a similar relationship to todays often slow and
inconvenient WWW browser system.

I also subscribe to the submini-photo list (SUBMINI-L@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)
and I think that this resource on the internet has sparked interest in
submini photography, demonstrated by a _30%_ increase in sales for Minox
9x11mm cameras, film & processing!

I suspect that many people have found this Photo 3D list while looking
for information on the 'Net, and YOU FOLKS can take credit for the
growing numbers of stereo photographers that will soon be apparent. I
work for a major "webvertizing" agency and most of the designers here
are aware of the possibilities presented by anaglyphic 3D. Many keep a
pair of red/blue glasses beside their Macs. It won't be long before we
use this technology to promote our client's brands., and many people
exposed for the first time to 3D on the WWW will then look for ways of
doing the 3D "thing" in their own imagemaking.

Thanks for your unsolicited help!
