I am sorry that you got the impression that I was claiming that the Albion
mask will only fit into the EMDE frame. That was not my intention, nor do I
think that was what was actually stated in my posts. I was merely trying to
indicate the Albion mask could fit into the EMDE frame. Obviously, each
user of an Albion mask has several options on how to finish the stereomount.
Some just leave it as is. Others use Reel 3D's No. 2130 cardboard
foldover, and then tape the edges. That's certainly an option. There is a
third option and that is to use the EMDE frame. I am personally not
aware of any other "type of frame" that could be used.

That more Albion masks have been finished with the No. 2130 foldover
doesn't necessarily mean that it's the best or only way to finish
mounting them. Each user decides what's best for them in terms of
features versus the costs involved. Ultimately the consumer "votes" with
his dollars to determine which products continue to be produced or forced
to be discontinued. The versatility of the mask itself is not at issue
here but rather how to finish them so they are ready for use in a viewer or
projector. Again I am sorry if I mislead anyone into thinking that using
the EMDE frame was the only way to finish mounting an Albion mask. It's
just the best way, IMHO.
