more on Kodachrome
>Leopold Godowsky was a concert pianist who died in the 1930s. His son,
Leopold, Jr., was the co-inventor of Kodachrome, and not a musician.
Leopold was my mother's uncle.
Thanks, Marilyn, for this interesting information.
Steven Langenthal, a photo-3d lister, called today with the following note
(he's having trouble posting directly to the list):
Leopold, Jr. was married to Frances Gershwin, George and Ira's sister.
That explains why George and Ira were known to have tested Kodachrome
before it was produced.
