You see why "technology contrast" came to my mind when I suggested
the stereotach in combo with a Kodak digital camera a while ago,
and why I specifically mentioned *that* splitter. :-)

P.S. - I wandered about a local Sharper Image store yesterday while waiting
for 5-rolls of E6 film (stereo of course) to be developed at a nearby
1-hour place. They had a Casio printer that attaches to Casio digital
cameras. Printer was about $350, which is very cheap for anything in
that store. The sample prints looked quite good! It's 300dpi continuous
tone printing, probably on that 'special' paper that's been talked about
quite a bit (and was VERY spendy at the Sharper Image).
