I had the pleasure of seeing this movie also, and found it to be very
good in content and very good 3D. As is all the 3D Imax movies compared
to the stuff that preceded it.

In the lobby they had for sale "vintage type" stereoview reproductions.
On the cards, is printed Across the Sea of Time/Filmed in
Imax and Keystone-Mast Collection. These are black and white prints.
Of the 10 cards almost half were reversed, therefore pseudo if viewed
with a viewer. You can also get VM reels from the Movie which are much
better in quality and color as well.

I remember seeing these on display and boy were they huge. They measured,
I would estimate about 3 feet long. I don't know what regular projection
movie theatres use, but these are Xenon arc lamps. They are much brighter
than halogen lamps and consequently also produce alot of UV and other
nasty stuff, such as ozone, which has to be ventilated. Another precaution
is that they should be handled with care since they are under pressure
and can explode even when not being operated. Other than that, they
would make a great conversion for a TDC ;-), assuming you have the
correct power supply also!
