Across the Sea of Time

While at a history convention last week I had the opportunity to go and
see "Across the Sea of Time" at the Imax at the Minnesota Zoo outside of
Minneapolis. I took a buddy with me and we both thoroughly enjoyed the
show. Although we both though the story a bit sappy, the use of old and
new stereo was fun. I was impressed too with the bits of information
supplied before the show such as:
" this process uses 2 15,000 watt, water cooled bulbs that, if located on
the moon, would be clearly visible from earth."

I also wanted to cite an article on the history of stereography that one
of my students presented to me while researching an assignment. I seemed
to have lost the actual citation but believe it was from LIFE magazine,
January 1939. I will check in later with the details.
