I remember seeing that poster for sale at the Rochester NSA
convention. It was really nice but decided to buy it in the
future (by mail-order) because it would have been cumbersome
to carry back.
It makes a fine complement to another Grand Canyon anaglyph.
This is an anaglyph flight-simulator called, "Fly The Grand
Canyon In Stereo 3-D". Don't expect bitmapped graphics but
rather simple wireframe. Nonetheless I was quite impressed
with this program since it featured true topography of the
Grand Canyon and the 3D was very good. This was included as
shareware in a book titled, "Adventures in Virtual Reality"
and also in "Virtual Reality and the Exploration of Cyberspace".
The shareware version is restricted to a 100 mile area of the
Grand Canyon. The full version is 1800 square miles. I couldn't
get any more info about it from the phone number listed
regarding getting the full version.
