I shouldn't bother trying to make it any clearer - you've set down
perfectly what I was trying to explain - and you're absolutely right
about the blackout! 

The room MUST be totally dark for the best projection - and that is
virtually impossible to achieve! After all, you'd have to switch off
that light source at the back of the room - you know, the one with the
projectionist behind it :-) :-) :-)
