I just use a twin rig - which tends to be my aperture priority OM10 rig
(nicknamed StereOM10), with 85mm or 135mm focal length lenses (actually
it's a pair of dual focal length Soligors - simpler than trying to match
zooms!)

Then I arrange a reasonable amount of overlap whilst panning, and then
just join the machine prints.

However, I have sometimes been quite a pest at the d&p shop, asking them
to over-ride the settings to achieve a reasonably even density across
the strips!!!

My favourite (flat, unfortunately) panorama was produced with an Olympus
Pen EE half frame camera. This has the advantage of a vertical format
which helps with the overlap. It is a 360 degree of Laycock Abbey, the
home of Fox Talbot.

A pair of these cameras would make a great rig for panoramic
sequentials. (The stereos would be synched, but the pan would be
sequential :-) :-) :-) )
