Bioptor

If anyone wishes to purchase a Bioptor, then they had better move 
fast....the factory has only a limited supply left.  These viewers were 
made by a company in Chicago, called Stereo Optical, the successor 
company to TDC, of projector fame.  They had contracted out production of 
the plastic parts of the viewer to an outside firm, which went bankrupt.  
The metal dies used to mold these parts were somehow lost in the resulting 
reorganization.  Stereo Optical has figured out that the replacement cost 
of the dies greatly exceeds any possible return from future sales (an all too 
familiar story when it comes to 3D), so they are not going to make any more.
I obtained this information from the President of Stereo Optical and it 
was confirmed by their product Engineer.  Moral: if you want one, buy it
