Cleveland Stereo Meeting

Well, I thought I'd jump back on the list to review the recent Cleveland
meeting. The first half of the meeting involved a slide presentation by
Don Peck. The second half of the meeting explored hyperstereos. The
third half of the meeting...........That's correct, there is not a
"third half" ( unless you're a Steeler fan) Don Peck's slide
presentation included some great shots across the US and great close-ups
of plants and flowers coming right through the stereo window...."in your
face". As a result, my allergies flaired up.....a testament to the
effectiveness of good stereography! ( or the result of poor ventilation
in the room....I'd like to believe the former) Coughing and sneezing
throughout the wonderful presentation, I found relief during the
hyperstereo segment. Techniques and equipment were discussed, and sample
images were shown. I submitted my very first Hand-Held-Hyper* using a
single lense camera (*registered copyright of M Dottle
effective immediately :-)  ) An X-ray view beneath my mount would reveal
rotational, vertical and compositional cover-ups unlike no
other......reminds me of the "walk-through" I took on my house before I
signed the papers!
Anyway, another great meeting!!! Next month is "shots around Cleveland".
I'm gonna have to take some aerial hypers considering I live in
Pittsburgh! Since I'll be using a single SLR, I will ask Cleveland to
keep your cars parked this Saturday afternoon. Thankyou MARK DOTTLE
