Delta Stereo camera repair

I have a Delta Stereo Camera that needs what I hope is a minor repair.  The
front element of the viewfinder popped out of its window.  I need to open the
aluminum "face" of the camera to get to the back of the widow to return the
element.  

The problem is that once I remove the two screws on top of the camera and the
tripod lock screw at the bottom of the camera, there is still the lenses to
contend with.  It appears that I need to remove the collar around the lenses
to free the face plate, but I don't know how to do it, or even if it can be
done.  Anyone??
