P3D Idea for birthday party

My daughter had a birthday party on Saturday... She turned 9 on
Monday and had invited a few friends to celebrate. My contribution
was a stereo slide show. I got into 3d a few months before she
was born, so I have documented her life in great detail.

To prepare I scanned my collection of slides (that takes hours)
and pulled 100 of the best slides. Starting from wife 9 months
pregnant and myself looking much younger :-) and going to
this summer with our trip to Greece.

It was fun and the kids liked it. To break the monotony ("here is
Lea 6 years old", "here is Lea 6 1/2 years old"... etc.), I played
a little game "Find Lea" where I would show pictures with a lot
of people and asked the kids to find Lea among the crowd. I
even included a few slides where Lea was not in the picture, just
to confuse them... Lea was holding a laser pointer and was
point to different things/people in the pictures.

I think I am going to do this again for my son (who is turning 6
this Christmas) and also when friends are visiting, etc. Till
now I hesitated to have stereo slide projections because most
of my slides are mounted in bare Albion mounts and putting them
in cardboard or glass is a bit of a pain. But with the use of
RBT mounts, remouning from Albion to RBT is becoming fun.
I have the chance to readjust the window and make the pictures
look even better. For this showing I remounted about 40 slides.
I left the EMDE with aluminum frames (my older system) as-is.
One extra advantage of RBT mounts: The boxes they come in make
a perfect storage space for about 80? slides. Plus, I can write
titles with a marker, which is quick and easy.
