Hi, Eric,
Sorry I didn't get more of a chance to talk to you at the meeting
yesterday. I was particularly curious about your opinion of the
Ektar. From the samples I shot, I found the slides (my usual
Kodachrome 64) a bit too contrasty, and the colors seemed to lack
brilliance, compared with my 3.5 Realist. I'm not sure if that was
unique to my particular camera, or if it was characteristic of the
Ektars in general.

I should have known you'd have some knowledge in this area. Any
opinions on whether there are any point-and-shoot cameras that WOULD
be good for stereo?

Believe it or not, I'm thinking of shooting reversal for this and
making prints. Ultimately, I'd like landscape format prints so I
could mount them for use with a View-Magic, but I thought the vertical
format (with suitable cropping) might be good for making my own
Holmes-style cards.
There's a Canon Elph APS camera that's only 3.6" wide ... I was
thinking of trying to twin these sometime to get only moderate hyper,
but it's a $300 camera, and I'm not that daring.
Thanks,
