P3D Re: P3D twin-camera 'gizmo'
I use a 1/4"-20 stud cut to about 1/2" long. I place a wahser made of thin
piece of cork gasket material between the cameras (a rubber washer might
work) so that it allows the cameras to kind of squeeze together the last
half turn or so. This BTW, on my Cannon T-70s spaces the lens at near
normal distance.
Cut the stud from a 1/4-20 bolt. Run a nut over the cut end to smooth over
the threads. File a bit if necessary. You might have to experiment a bit to
get the length just right.
